Nervous System
The sacred pulse of vitality and joy moving through you. When it flows, there is a certain grace and ease to live - it feels more open, fun, playful, loving and expansive, ideas can bloom.
When it’s stuck, everything is.
Both Reiki and Reflexology are here to hold you, to give you the space you and your body need to tap into this force, into this energy. Your body is the healer, and it is my honour to offer the time, the tranquility & the impulse for you to feel safe enough to ground - to find balance, stability and flow.
Every body carries energy, like a river carries water, and we can stimulate certain areas, remove blockages and improve your very own connection with your bodies nervous system by applying Reiki or Foot Reflexology. The goal here is not to be perfectly regulated or calm all the time - it is to be safely connected to your nervous system, to be in tune with it so that life’s ups and downs can be navigated with rooted feet and a fluid and balanced nervous system.
In Sanskrit, it is called Prana. In Chinese Medicine, it’s called Chi. In Japan, it’s called (Rei)Ki.
Reiki
The name Reiki comes from the Japanese words “Rei”, meaning universal, and “Ki”, meaning life force or energy.
Reiki is flowing through each of us. When working with Reiki, I
channel and direct this energy through my hands and over/through your body’s energetic fields. Clients usually report feeling various reactions - ranging from softening, relaxing, warm responses to slightly tingling, sometimes even soft psychedelic sensations. For some, images appeared behind their closed eyes, they experienced a deeper awareness of their body or simply fell asleep. Each reaction is welcome.
Through applying this method, your body is gently invited to balance its energetic fields and -rivers as well as to find alignment within its Chakra System.
Foot Reflexology
There is a reason why the words “SOUL” and “SOLE” don’t sound so different after all...
Your feet carry you through your life, supporting and holding you with every step. They are also a Somatotopy - a point-to-point mapping of body parts to specific areas of the feet. This means that different regions of the body are mirrored on your soles and therefore can be stimulated through various massage techniques.
Most times it’s described as grounding & deeply nourishing. It can gift us more awareness of our feet, which is especially nice if you’re someone who spends a lot of time in their head.
While the massage is a relaxing experience in itself, I also focus on sensitive reflexology zones, trying to trigger gentle reactions in your body, leading to a harmonization within your body’s functions and the life force flowing through it.
